I'd always had love and passion for music especially guitar and all genres but Spanish and flamenco guitar, I always considered a bit special.

I started learning guitar at the age of 23 , a bit late , but I studied hard had lessons to begin with and concentrated on the techniques of flamenco for the first year and then also started to focus on other styles , mainly electric blues and rock . But the more I learnt flamenco the more I became interested in the history of flamenco and the origins of guitar , from the Moors introducing the rhythms of flamenco to Andalusia in the 1st century to the guitar originating in the 15th century.

One the things I love about flamenco is that you don't have to play a piece the same way every time, I can mix and match sections in any order I like , which gives me scope to learn new passages of music to add to existing pieces .

And of course the passion and feeling of flamenco . Its the blues music of Spain , Romance , love and the realities of life.
